Where are my photos stored? On your device, in the app’s own storage. There is no account and no server. If you turn on iCloud in Settings, a copy is also kept in your own iCloud — nobody else can reach it.
I deleted something by mistake. Deleted items go to the Trash and stay there for 30 days. Open Settings ▸ Trash to bring them back.
Are my original photos changed? No. The original is stored exactly as it was taken, with a checksum. The title block, crops and annotations are applied when a copy is made — never to the original.
The weather or address field is empty. Those need a connection. They fill in when you are back online. The rest of the app works with no signal.
The position looks wrong. Accuracy comes from your device’s GPS and varies with sky, weather and surroundings. You can correct a position by hand on the photo’s detail screen — the original recorded position is kept alongside it.
Can I use my own coordinate system? Yes. Settings ▸ Coordinate format — WGS 84, SWEREF 99 TM, UTM, MGRS, British National Grid and more.
A file is missing. Settings ▸ Storage ▸ Find missing files will look for it and restore it if it can be found.
How do I get my work out of the app? Export photos, videos or a PDF report from any project. Everything you make is yours to take with you.
